Sister: the following note is from our
co-presidents.
It's been a joy to serve as Sisterhood Co-presidents for the past three
years. Now it is time to pass the gavel. We each have some individual
goals that we would like to pursue but want to insure a smooth
transition for a new President and Co-President, or a President and Vice
President. There have been many wonderful programs established and we
wish the new Sisterhood Board opportunities to create their own vision
or to follow the course that has been established. It's a wonderful
time for anyone who has had some experience with leadership to come on
board. Please contact Elisa Eisenman or Sheila Firestone if you are
interested in taking on any leadership position. There are many board
positions and chairpersons who would love help We can always use some
strong women to further the cause of Sisterhood and to help serve the
Temple.

Our Sisterhood is the collective
presence, voice and strength of the women of Temple Sinai. Come, join us. Let us show you
what faith, family and friends really are at Temple Sinai.
We strive to
create educational and interesting programs and trips for all of
the women of our Temple. New Temple members are presented a complimentary first
year membership exclusive of WRJ
(Women of Reform
Judaism) dues which must be paid by every
member. We offer either a Life Membership as well as yearly memberships.
We
collectively raise money for scholarships for Ethiopian female high
school students who's families have made Aliya to Israel, paying for their fees and school
necessities. This is an ongoing Sisterhood project.
We look
forward to seeing many of you at our meetings and programs. Sheila
Firestone and Elisa Eisenman,
